Children & Families
"Children do their best when their bodies feel safe."
Many children who struggle with behaviour, emotions, attention or sensory sensitivities are not being 'difficult' - their nervous systems are overwhelmed or in survival mode.

At Sense-It, I help children to feel safer and more settled in their own bodies by working with their sensory and emotional systems, and focusing on their strengths. I also support parents to understand what their child's behaviours are really communicating, and how they can do-regulate, connect and gently guide their child back to calmness, confidence and engagement.

The following services are provided:
-
Sensory-based Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention.
-
Sensory Attachment Intervention-informed support.
-
The Just Right State for Parents & Children programme.

These services are offered on a limited, specialist basis for families whose children have sensory, attachment and trauma-related needs and where this model of work is a good fit.

For Professionals & Organisations:
-
Online sensory and attachment-informed consultation for key workers.
-
Sensory-informed training for schools, education, and workplace settings.
